Images of w108 and w109 vehicles
This page is meant to showcase some of the examples of 108 and 109 MBs I have found over the years. If I have included your vehicle on this page (or site) against your wishes, please contact me so I may remove it. The same goes if you would like me to add images of your vehicle. The only qualification is that it must be a high-quality image of a 108 or 109 chassis Mercedes Benz. The nicer the vehicle (or picture), the more likely I will be to use it!
I will add images to this page as I recieve them, and as I find enough throughout the web to add to the page. Keep an eye on it!

One of the earliest 108 chassis built (#1820 of the RHD chassis), note the euro lights and lack of US-spec turn signal lenses. 1965 250S Australia-delivered. |
Another earlier 108 chassis, this 1966 250SE is US-speced. Note the US headlights (twin-beams) and the round, earlier "Beehive" turn-signal lenses. Presumably still in the USA. Note the lack of side markers. |
|

A shot of the back of a euro-spec 280SE. Note the "Automatic" script and euro plate light. A very large and artistic shot.
|

A US-Spec 300SEL 6.3. Note the one-piece hubcaps in contrast to the US-spec 1966 above it. Still with beehive turn signals. See the addition of side markers. |
|
This 300SEL 6.3 is a euro model fitted with US-spec clear corners. The headlights, if stock, would have amber corner lenses. |

A 280SE, RHD (presumably in the UK) with the stock euro twin-headlight setup. Note the amber corner lenses the 6.3 to the left lacks. |

A US-spec 300SEL 6.3 from 1970. Note the switch from beehive front turn signal markers to the larger, faux-fog lights. Much easier to see, and IMHO more attractive. |
The back of a US-Spec 280SE 4.5. This model has the US-spec plate lights (contrasted to the Euro 280SE above). |

My 280SE 4.5. Note the front grille guard (very rare) and the "Bundt rims" on the front wheels. Named Quicksilver, she's more than a bit rusty. |

A 280SE m130 engine. |

A 4.5L m117 V8. Very similar in appearance to a 3.5L m116 V8 (save blue-green, instead of yellow injectors, and a barely noticeable wider stance) |

A 6.3L m100 V8. This engine is from the euro-spec green 6.3 shown above. A tight fit under the hood of a 109! |
